I think you should be safe. Top 13 will qualify (Oceania and Africa reallocated). Also, assuming that Ukraine, Japan and Spain will qualify a team here.

These are qualifiers after technical routine: FRA, GRE, MEX, AUT, USA, KAZ, SUI, CZE, COL, ISR, ARG, SVK, GBR

I am trying to follow the event, but there's little to no information available in Brazil. This is a shame.

What countries are taking part in the team competition?

You're leaving Italy out of the qualification spots

Yes, but they should get European continental quota while Asian would go to North Korea,

Thanks. No participation from the host nation? We had a rough time at the PanAms, so I guess the experience from the Test Event would have come in handy for the Brazilian team before the Olympics.

I understand the FINA at the point of which is a pre-Olympic competition and we already have quotas.

But would be good see Brazil competing in the Aquatic Center Maria Lenk, although the girls are already quite familiar with the pool because they trained there last years.

Can anyone confirm about the qualification of duets.

If I am reading this correctly we will have our 20 duets known after the first free routine and then the eight which missed a spot will compete in a second free routine in order to get the final 4 spots. That's how it is worded in the FINA bulletin for this event, but the qualification page doesn't speak to this two tier qualification.

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
    • Here's my calculations of the quotas. I believe you are correct about Italy having 3 quotas in men's singles.   Men's Singles   3 Quotas: 2 Quotas: 1 Quota:   data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAPABAP///wAAACH5BAEKAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAICRAEAOw==   Women's Singles   3 Quotas: 2 Quotas: 1 Quota:     Men's Doubles   2 Quotas: 1 Quota:     Women's Doubles   1 Quota:
