p.s. and when you have such indecent conditions, Felix Loch always goes a lot better than his direct rivals...

it looks he likes this unfair track conditions...

I guess that's why Fédération Internationale de Loch keeps it in the calendar.

Please throw away this joke of track from WC calendar.

Better just move it to a different part of the season, or get some stuff over it to keep it clean when it's snowing, or get better crew to sweep. There's a ton of better options than removing a track in a sport where tracks in itself are already a rare thing :p

Or maybe just use La Plagne (at altitude) or more North American tracks... You know, so that they don't end up as Nagano, Cesana, etc, etc....

They could indeed add Calgary so they'd use all North American tracks and the North Americans get some more free victories as well.

Free victories? Then what do you say about Germany hosting 5 WC events on 4 tracks one or two seasons ago.

This season North America only has Calgary and Lake Placid...

Free German victories, which is why I said 'as well' :p  (so the North Americans would get free victories alongside the Germans in Germany)

And yeah, but normally Park City is there as well, I guess it's now out because of the Olympic season or something, no idea. Apart from Calgary, they're definitely used a lot in sliding sports though.

    • Exactly. Recent developments of the construction haven't been particularly encouraging, and while they'll probably get everything sorted just in time, a lot of North American fans have been quite vocal about every minor inconvenience.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
