heywoodu 13,562 Posted May 5, 2018 #86 Share Posted May 5, 2018 Russian national team boycotts the KHL champions or what's going on there? If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

AK Bars only have veterans who don't want to play for the NT anymore, young guys not ready for this stage yet and, above, their key players are not Russian (Azevedo from USA and Klinkhammer, who's Canadian if I remember correctly )... there were not players from Kazan also at the Olympics...and here they also have a few NHLers (6 atm), so it's quite obvious that there's no place for AK Bars people in this team... p.s. by the way, great start for me in the prediction contest...4 correct results out of 4 games...I only missed a few goals from Russia and Sweden (I always hope not to see too many blowouts)...
