Just a little fun fact I just read in an interview with some Dutch players: the Netherlands beat Argentina in the final, but the same day there was a party in the Olympic village on a small field somewhere, with the Dutch women but also the Argentinian team, the British team and the Belgian men all talking, dancing and having general fun :d

Can you give us more details on this? :)

Well no, that's basically how it was described in the interview :p I assume they meant something like "it was a lot of fun, with talking, dancing and such" :d

And in a video on TeamNL's youtube channel I heard that they were already on the plane back home the same night or maybe the morning after, with the Argentinian team on the same plane.

    • It's hard to believe it was still in this calendar year
    • In last year, we were were happy with Brignone's wins, and today we're excite that della Mea is in the top 10... It's hard to imagine a bigger fall... And Goggia should give up on the giant slalom and focus on the speed events – Vonn isn't wasting time on the giant slalom, but is training for downhill and SG. Goggia last one finished on the podium in the giant slalom in march 2018, and she has no any chance of winning an Olympic medal at the regular competition. It's a waste of time and energy to finish 8th or 9th and risk injury. And we have to accept that without Brignone, we have no chance of winning a medal in the giant slalom in Cortina, and that's it.
    • yeah, just like Anna Trocker earlier Today   I think this is the best way to blow them    they're not ready for the world cup stage yet, but we're so bad right now that our coaches are digging deep
    • Some surprises and fun results so far at this year's Worlds. Like a few minutes ago, when  Harrysson made the 1/8 with another very good performance. Now he plays Jonny Clayton, who this afternoon made a stellar performance in a tough battle with Zonneveld. I don't see an easy match for Clayton, even though on paper he would have wished such an opponent for a 1/8 before the tournament.   Also i'm delighted that my fav Gary Anderson seems to be in good form, though at his age, he is prone to sudden bad matches at any time.
