Not sure. I think he sadly injured himself during the holidays (judging by a photo on Instagram where he uses crutches).

No idea about how serious it is though.

"International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) Executive Committee members have voted in favour of proposing four-woman bobsleigh for Winter Olympic inclusion at Beijing 2022 but the body's President Ivo Ferriani has made it clear he would prefer a female monobob event."

Goddamit, no to both. At least for 2022. For crying out loud, both of them don't even have a World Cup series yet.

Belgium and the Netherlands will form one team from now on, with Tom De La Hunty as head coach, and a German starting coach. Curious how that's gonna work out :p

You mean one organization running bobs for the 2 countries not a joint BEL-NED crew?

The first option, as far as I know they'll still compete as BEL and as NED. Mostly it'll be Belgian women and Dutch men forming one team (not on-track). "That way, the men can help us carry the heavy sled, every little bit helps", according to Elfje Willemsen :p

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases

It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
