Team :LTU Lithuania is losing Rokas Suslavičius and Natalija Paulauskaitė. There are still questions on whether we'll see Diana Rasimovičiūtė, but the rest of the team seems like they're planning to remain :)

Would be surprised if Rasimoviciute continues again. Didn't she initially retire like ages ago?

She retired many times, but has not yet skipped a single season from the start of her Biathlon career. Take that information in as you will :d

Just now, Dunadan said:

:mumble:I don't think this is correct.

I would be extremely happy if that is not correct, but she, for some reason, is mentioned between the retirees in the Wikipedia page, although there's no citation yet.

I saw the same kind of discussion on Realbiathlon forum, just like about Mario Dolder. There seems to be quite some confusion :p

Other news

Thee should be 12 people related to the Biathlon "family" under investigation after the Austrian Police raid at last year's Worlds in Hochfilzen.

2 of them should be investigated for corruption, the remaining 10 could be responsible for sports fraud.

And it should be 2 different investigation pathways...the doping scandal is definitely related to last year's Worlds, meanwhile the corruption files should be about facts started already in 2012 (it should be about money in exchange for covering up positive doping tests).

That's what's reported by Norwegian press (VG) after something said by a spokeswoman of the Austrian police.

here's the full article (in Italian)...

p.s. a bit off-topic in this thread, but since we're here...;)

Tor Arne Hetland has been fired from his role as the Cross-Country Skiing men's head coach in Norway...

the new coach should be Eirik Myhr Nossum, former coach of Petter Northug...

and many people have already started to speculate on the bad boy's return in the Norwegian squad...

  • 2 weeks later...

A Russian coach has been fired. He'd help 17-year old Anna Moiseeva and all she needed to do is have sex with him!

    • Who wins today? Johaug and Klaebo???   No  or  flags on the start so i cheer for Jasmi Joensuu  she’s the girl to watch this season, mind my words
    • Sarcastically of course, cheering for the fact she basically received no punishment     Tennis and football are jokes in terms of combatting doping.
    • Excited as always   My main thought was "alright, only 18 countries in the women's race and apparently no wildcards for anyone, that's decent news"
