Actually, Japan will play in first division and not Slovenia

they cannot change the rules in the middle of competition.our players flew around the world to beat everybody and earned place in the elite.

last news is that vollebal organization will decide after the end of elite competition

It seems that the fate of World league 2018, or rather "new volleyball league" is already sealed  here are the teams and basic schedule according to our media . They also confirmed some teams will be able to play SEVEN YEARS without relegation.

Like I said some weeks before - i probably won't watch this farce at all. The rule about 7 years of play without relegation just sealed it. Even now many teams don't use their first squads. Fivb basically just made sure for the next 7 years we will have competition full of amazing matches like Brazil u20 - France u17 or Italy Z team - China. Because money :mirror:

My favourite Volleyball position: LIBERO. You ask why? Look here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyIOarNAONk

    • I'm very biased, London easily. It was just so British it was great.   I recall rio being a fun one though.
    • 1- Paris 2024, it was the one I was most engaged with watching. I got up early to see early events and it was just a great time    2nd- London 2012, a lot of good memories connected to this one, I remember some moments very well   Tied 3rd - tokyo and rio, both were fun to. The vibes were a bit off with tokyo  because of the year but its not their fault.  Rio was a bit of a mess in some ways but a fun experience.
    • I think for the situation this is a good idea. I suspect its this or in the future this event just doesn't happen.
    • Suggesting the multi-city model for the CWG.   I think it's sensible: clearly the days of huge new facilities for everything are gone for the foreseeable.   https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/ce3lp664701o

    • 1. 4.1. Noone guessed that.   3. 4.3. How many athletes representing Norway will be there in the Final of Men's Individual Sprint Free World Cup Event (Tour de Ski), Toblach, ITA, Sat, Dec 28th?   Only one here as well.   Johannes Hoesfloet Klaebo. Noone guessed that one, either.   4. 4.4. Will there be an athlete representing Austria in the Top 3 of Women's Slalom World Cup Event, Semmering, AUT, Sun, Dec 29th?   Yes!   Katharina Liensberger AUT was 3rd.   5. 4.5. Which place will Dominik Paris, ITA, take in Men's Downhill World Cup Event, Bormio, ITA, Sat, Dec 28th?   Paris was only 31st.   Turned out we were much too optimistic here.   .........   Those were quite difficult questions. 3 of 5 - noone gave a correct answer. Wintersports are unpredictable LOL
