The same thing happened in Roland Garros this year, he didn't lose a set till quarter-finals, and then was wiped out by Wawrinka. But this time should be different, he was always much better player on grass than on the clay (like pretty much every player from Croatia). Milan 26 Posted July 10, 2017 #82 Share Posted July 10, 2017 Hopefully Cilic can continue his good form. Semifinal against Murray should be interesting. Overall our men's tennis is somewhat worrying. Karlovic appears to be done, Coric I think lacks quality and in juniors there is nothing on the horizon at the moment. At least we have some good doubles players and our women's tennis is promising. Besides, I think Muller has spent quite a lot more energy than Cilic already... Personally I hope Muller wins because a 34-year old from a country like Luxembourg finally showing something really awesome (only one GS QF in his career until now) near the end of his career would just be really cool, but I think Cilic wins If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! crovitlaci 177 Posted July 11, 2017 #85 Share Posted July 11, 2017 Apparently, Rafa was complaining about the reflection from top of the court, so they had to put 4-5 people to stand and cover the reflection, so he can serve normally.

Yep, the umpire asked some people to stand there Really good, relaxed umpire by the way. Also during that battle in the 5th set, the crowd started a 'wave', rather loud and of course hard to stop, but instead of the boring and annoying "Thank you" from the umpire, he said "You can continue in the next changeover" and immediately everyone stopped If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
