I know nothing about Persian textile patterns or textile patterns in general for that matter.  I would like to use one of my lifelines and switch out this question with another. A 50-50 wouldn't help me in this case and I would like to save my expert for later.

Shweshwe is African, Argyle is the Scottish diamond pattern and Herringbone is presumably old European.
