You mean 2 time Giro winner and 2 time Tour podium finisher Ivan Basso. Doesn't seem like a bad idea.  Of course i know what you mean, but frankly there aren't many clean people to give advice from the 1995-2010 period, so it's not like he has a big choice.

I know, but come on, you really need to search out some of the most clear dopers? Next thing you know he's knocking on Riccardo Ricco's door for some advice on how to prepare for a Grand Tour  

 

These things make cycling so deliciously 'scandalous', all these dopers still playing roles in advising people, and all kinds of suspicious doctors and team members from Sky to Katusha and Astana and Quick-Step and whatnot
