Our three 800 guys in the final :bounce:

Congrats! Spain used to be very good in middle/long distance running, maybe this is a revival?

I hope so, the three of them are born in the 90's, so they're still young, great future ahead.

But, to be truth, the fact that Tuka DNS in the 2nd semifinal helped a lot.

what a bad results in pole vault. only two girls on 2.65. Of corse Stefanidi and Ryzih are the best in Europe, but still.

Wow thats really bad ... i think even i could jump 2.65 m ... :mumble:

Seriously: Yes, very bad level, but you shouldnt forget that the 2nd best greek girl, the swiss girl and the russian girls are missing + Bengtsson seems to be in a pretty bad shape. At least we can be sure that europe has a great future in pole vault (Gunnarson and Murto on the womens side. The greek guy and Duplantis on the mens side).

    • Hope so (for my adopted country, Norway, that is). Torino 2006 was the first Winter Olympics I followed closely and it was nothing short of a disaster for Norway. Strangely enough, that was actually the reason I became an avid fan of Norwegian winter sports and have been ever since. As for my actual home country, Greece, a medal for Ginnis in slalom (alpine skiing) would be a miracle.

    • Women Gold-  Switzerland Silver-  Sweden Bronze-  Scotland   Paetz was on fire today, nothing Sweden could do about it. Hasselborg actually said in her post game presser for Sweden that the team didn’t play that bad, which I’d agree with.    Men Gold-  Germany  Silver-  Scotland Bronze-  Norway   Germany is really starting to establish theirselves as a medal contender for the upcoming World Championships and Olympics. Between them, Scotland, Sweden, Canada, Italy, Switzerland, and maybe Norway/United States the battle for the medals will be exciting.    Shocked to see no  or  in the playoffs    Full Results
