Grassmarket 3,625 Posted February 28, 2021 #22 Share Posted February 28, 2021 Have only just realised that the Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne suffers from the Driedaagse De Panne syndrome, in that it is in reality the Kuurne-Kortrijk-Kuurne. Five man front group refuse to help van der Poel, get caught by a group of about 20. And Mads Pedersen benefits with the sprint win. Grassmarket 3,625 Posted March 17, 2021 #23 Share Posted March 17, 2021 Good news is that this year’s Tour of Britain is confirmed in its usual early September timeslot. - we had absolutely no cycling last year with lockdown. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cycling/56429943 The domestic calendar is also scheduled to restart in June, so hopefully some regular events can be scheduled. Lots of international pro riders have come out of that scene, not just Brits. heywoodu 15,353 Posted March 27, 2021 #25 Share Posted March 27, 2021 The Eritreans are getting better and better, yesterday was an impressive result for them as a whole (I know they're of course not a team) in a pretty hard stage with a very hard finish. https://www.procyclingstats.com/race/settimana-internazionale-coppi-e-bartali/2021/stage-4 And that's even without Kudus. .
