Meanwhile there's a monster solo going on from Van Keirsbulck, who escaped early on and had an advantage of over 13 minutes at some point  

 

Now it's 7 minutes to obviously he won't make it, but still cool to see a big solo, quite rare nowadays.

Le Gac has been spending half the stage hanging on the doctor's car so far, that's going to be a DNF sooner or later.
