This is going to be hard to watch, for the first time in 23 years I won't be there. ?

 

To joke somehow, it is good our team is not among favourites, it will be easier to accept watching only on TV. ?

Switzerland has a case of positivity among the technical staff, the Swiss jumpers will not participate

 

Peter Prevc was excluded by technical choice

then of course, there are also other technical details and especially the mental aspect that play a decisive role, but for the average spectator watching on tv the 3 parameters mentioned above are the main things to be noticed...

      There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)
