Don’t want to hear from any tennis players complaining how cold it is in Paris! :redcard:

Cyclists are known to be rather tough, as this shows once again :d

Another horrible crash falling over a bottle - Pieter Weening in trouble this time.  Pedalling on.

Not too good to see the doctor not stopping him, he looked like he was wobbling quite a lot and showed signs of a concussion..

WTF, completely missed it because work (stopped watching as soon as they finished), but a helicopter blew a fence over the road, knocking down Etienne van Empel and Luca Wackermann who were hit hard :yikes: Van Empel finished, Wackermann didn't and even if he did, not even remembering that you're in the Giro is a rather clear sign you're not going to get on the bike tomorrow.

The state of the roads both old and new in Calabria certainly offering plenty proof to the rumours that the whole area is controlled by the Mafia.  :mumble:

Very impressed by Filippo Ganna at the moment.  In a breakaway contending to be first over the top of the climb - great chance of a stage win with a long descent to come.

Commentator to co-commentator Karsten Kroon: "I'm getting an interesting bit of statistics Karsten, do you know who the last cyclist is to lead the King of the Mountains classification in all three Grand Tours, something Thomas de Gendt could reach today?"

Kroon: "Uhm, no?"

Commentator: "You're not going to believe it."

Kroon: "Huh. Well then I hope De Gendt won't make it :)"
