Once you have specified content in new Post, start making your predictions according to the Rules
To post your predictions, click on "Submit Reply" button

Rules

For this Prediction Contest you are predicting the Winner + Set Score for each match.

To do that, you have to write the set score for each player in the box beside each player's name. You write the name of the winning player of each match in the subsequent cell to the right in the next column and so forth.

Rounds of 128 to Rounds of 32 Rules

For the Rounds of 128 to Rounds of 32, predictors will predict the outcome of each match in these rounds of the Men's and Women's Singles' Tournaments before the start of the first match in these rounds.

Scoring Format (Rounds of 128 to Rounds of 32):

Rounds of 16 to Finals Rules

For the Rounds of 16 to Finals, predictors will predict the outcome of each match in these rounds of the Men's and Women's Singles' Tournaments before the start of the first match in each rounds.

Scoring Format (Rounds of 16 to Finals):

- Correct Winner + Correct Set Score - 5 points

- Correct Winner + Wrong Set Score - 3 points

- Wrong Winner - 0 points

If Name 1 wins 3-1, you get 5 points

Winners and Finalists Predictions

Before the start of the first match of the tournament, predictors pick 3 players in both Men's and Women's Singles' Tournament which they believe will win their respective tournament. Predictors prioritise each player from 1st pick to 3rd pick

Points will be awarded as follow:

- 1st Pick goes to the Final and Win - 20 points

- 2nd Pick goes to the Final and Win - 15 point

- 3rd Pick goes to the Final and Win - 10 points

- 1st Pick goes to the Final and Lose - 10 points

- 2nd Pick goes to the Final and Lose - 7,5 point

- 3rd Pick goes to the Final and Lose - 5 points

Men's Singles' Final

- If Tsitsipas wins, predictor will earn 20 points

- If Tsitsipas loses, predictor will earn 10 points

- If Thiem wins, predictor will earn 15 points

- If Thiem loses, predictor will earn 7,5 points

TB Rules

If two or more contestants have the same number of points at the end, Tie-Break rule will be applied to break the tie.

Number or perfect predictions in the Rounds of 16 and forward will be compared for the involved contestants. If they are still tied, number of second best scores in the Rounds of 16 and forward will be compared. If they are still tied, the best score in the Finals will be compared.

Example

Contestant 1: 3x5, 2x3

Contestant 2: 3x5, 1x3

Contestant 1 will be placed ahead of Contestant 2.

The contestant with most points wins the contest.

The Ranking is determined by the Sum of Points the Contestant scores in all predicted Matches. If any Player withdraws after the start of the tournament, predictions involving those players will not be counted.

You can enter the Contest whenever you want. The moment you post your predictions is the moment when you are entering the Contest and your points will be calculated for all the matches you predicted AND which haven't started.

In order to earn points from the start, you should post your predictions before the start of the first match of the tournament - September 27th, h. 11:00 (GMT +2).

You can EDIT your predictions whenever you want until the start of the first match of the Prediction Design Post.

Also, if the forum is down, or you cannot access the forum for any reason, you can send your predictions on e-mail: totallympics.predictions@gmail.com. Make sure your predictions are understandable. Every contestant MUST HIDE own predictions. To do that, you have only to delete the space between the bracket "[" and the text "hide" in "[ hide]" at the beginning of prediction post.
