I'm not sure I tried to look using the EOC websites past results database but it so un-user friendly I gave up!

Polish Wikipedia :woohoo:

It is indeed Luxembourg's first ever medal and immediately it's gold!

Peter Murphy (Luxembourgh's gold medal winner) and his sister Caroline (also in Erzurum) apperently have Dutch roots, awesome! I googled them and the first thing I saw was an article about the 11 and 12-year old brother/sister on a Dutch website when they were visiting their grandparents here :d

according to this article it´s for sure their first ever gold medal at winter EYOFs, http://teamletzebuerg.lu/2017/02/communique-de-presse-foje-erzurum-2017-2/

just briefly made a look on the previous WEYOF results and no LUX never won any medal, so it´s the first ever

and to mention the "Bronze Age" day for Italy from the 5 todays finished events they medaled in 4 of them, always bronze. :d

Fantastic Bronze medal to Team GB in the Women's Snowboard Cross!!!! Well done Ellie Soutter!

We haven't won a medal on snow at the EYOF since Chemmy Alcott in 1999!

To mess things up I have a feeling their father may be British and work for the European Union in Luxembuorg,

Not 100% sure but it looks like it.

The Luxembourg NOC refused to give any background information when I mailed them asking if they had another Dutch link besides their grandparents in the Netherlands....this is all getting complicated :p
