really looking forward for the under 69kg. category, as I read many news and articles we will send in this category our (I´ll quote) so-called biggest ever talent born in our teritory ever. Andrej Csemez. Apparently he is considered to be a real hope for a very interesting result. so let make a look on him and follow his tournament :)

Andrej Csemez is already in the last 16, unfortunately he will face a cuban so most likely it will be the end, but still it´s huge that we finally have a great talent in this sport, yesterday he defeated a Irish boxer !!! it must be the first time ever slovak boxer won against Ireland.

Csemez lost against Cuba :( but still very fine result, few times ago it was something unimaginable for Slovak boxing to reach such rounds at major events. Now we send 3 athelets and 2 of them advanced unusually far for Slovakia, for example Also Dávid Michálek won today by RSC in 2nd round against Kazakhstan and qualify for the Quarterfinals against Host Russia in -91kg.

    • Ah, as if that weren’t enough, Fratelli d’Italia (the largest party in parliament, the same one PM Giorgia Meloni belongs to) is demanding that the federation’s leadership come to parliament to explain the reasons for the failure. One of the rare times the government and opposition are united
    • Obviously, like every four years, the usual media circus has kicked off, with Italian politics and the government demanding the FIGC president’s head on a spike. Meanwhile, since the president is also an idiot, he doubled down, saying that football players are the only professionals and that other sports survive on government money. And so, the little theater begins, with the big stars of other sports launching a media storm (rightly so) to insult overpaid football players who can’t even achieve the minimum results. • in Paris we got 40 medals and 12 golds and we had disappointing campaigns in quite a few disciplines we should have got the 15/50 already 2 years ago and we're on the raising curve in a few sports tbh, as it is right now, that 20/50 target is definitely realistic, maybe a bit optimistic, but realistic
