Very influential cross-country in Kentucky yesterday. Clark Montgomery failed miserably... Two refusals, and once again I thought it would finally go well for him...

 

Michael Jung takes the command after XC, in front of  Maxime Livio. Interestingly, we had exactly the same situation at 4* in Pau last year when Livio came through in the show jumping and surprinsgly defeated Jung! Let's see if history repeats itself.

 

Some really cool rounds in XC yesterday. Tim Bourke went from 41st after dressage to 9th (!) after achieving one of only few clears inside the time.

Wow that was impressive by Schwentker, his horse sprinted towards the first obstacle after the shooting like crazy 

 

Of course when you've got Gigi D'Agostino's 'The Riddle' as music it's all easier
