Meanwhile, some of Lappartient's plans for future World Championships are:

- to organize a combined road, track, mountain bike, BMX WC every four years, starting in 2023;

- no more Team Time Trial;

- to create World Championships for small countries.

+1 for a championship for small countries, but 'world championships'? Then what, the winner is 'The World Champion of Small Countries'? No no no no.

World Championships for Small Countries existed before, they were called B World Championships. In fact, they were used to Olympic qualification in 2008.
