Although, I sometimes pass next to their training venue.. And, yeah, it's not surprising that avoiding the gate touches on rapids isn't their strong point. They hang the gates under this bridge.

Great opening day for us, really unexpected!

The atmosphere in Bratislava yesterday during the opening ceremony was fantastic. We finally host a major event in this sport we love so much

 

 

 

 

 

loved especially the France team entry

 

 

great was also the possibility for all young athletes to meet their idols and get some pics or signatures from all our senior team (like from Michal Martikán, Matej Beňuš, Elena Kaliská or Jana Dukátová)

seeing how they are improving during last few years it´s even more a shame that C2 is out...we clearly are losing another olympic medal(s)
