Although, I sometimes pass next to their training venue.. And, yeah, it's not surprising that avoiding the gate touches on rapids isn't their strong point. They hang the gates under this bridge.

The atmosphere in Bratislava yesterday during the opening ceremony was fantastic. We finally host a major event in this sport we love so much :)

great was also the possibility for all young athletes to meet their idols and get some pics or signatures from all our senior team (like from Michal Martikán, Matej Beňuš, Elena Kaliská or Jana Dukátová)

Results of Day 2 of the Under 23 and Juniors World Championships updated and available in our Results database Here

 

To mention especially the juniors K1 and :MAR guy finishing 8th in 1st heat  :cheer: from the same race also worth to notice the qualification for the semifinals of athletes from :TUR and :UZB

 

Also a semifinal for :CRO already after 1st heats thanks to Luka Vragovic :cheer:

    • That was known from the start for  and will be planned for.   Sadly just the reality of sports in North America. Canada and the US are both huge, a flight from Vancouver to Halifax or from Seattle to Miami is north of five hours. Every sports league in North America has to deal with this kind of travel logistics on the regular, so none of this will seem particularly unusual to a North American player.
    • That’s not a long distance, it’s barely a 2h flight and there is no difference in timezone. Easily doable for fans as well.
