Too soon :(

You could just get a Yacht and travel in style to the Long Beach zone. Then you could have a limo for the other stuff :p

Canoe Slalom’s pretty cool. You could travel down the LA River in a flamingo raft like those guys did a while back :p

i do like it, i'll check it out, hopefully they will have a lot of test events coming up that i will go to

I am worried because usually in olympics i spend 16 hours in front of the tv watching whatever i can, usually on 3 different screens, it will be a problem being in one event, i wont sleep for weeks trying to catch up!!

Yep, that’s my problem with Tokyo too. However, replays will be available forever when it comes to the Olympics, so I’m not concerned.

I’ve kinda just given up on that for these games. I do that every other time I watch a multi-sports event, so I think I’ll just live in the moment during Tokyo.

    • Yeah, we have such a strong crop of Juniors, that we can’t take them all. They all have exciting trajectories but to predict what Junior swimmers will is always difficult. Better to let them all swim together at Juniors than rocketing them all up to seniors and swimming a prelim and going home.
    • Hanlon is the most unlucky, in my opinion. Aside from relay cover, she's the 50m champ and they made a point of including consideration for those events being in LA for the other discretionary picks. Essentially she has the same case for selection as Max Morgan (albeit without the trajectory right now).   Blocksidge's form was way off this week (compared to her previous bests). Obviously being still young you could put that down to relative inexperience. Still, she has World and European Juniors that she could still be selected for this summer. There's an argument that performing well at those might be as beneficial as going to Singapore.   That said, I'm happy that they did take a bunch of discretionary picks. That's not always been the case.

    • it was below and over 57/73kg (4 categories, 2 for men and 2 for women), if I remember correctly    however, basically they gave a title shot to a meaningless competition, in order to try and relive the open category, but it was a fiasco
