It's strange not having to wait 3 weeks before we get any results.

I have added the format for deciding ties for position within the group stage to the rules. It will mostly follow the same tie-break criteria as those used in FIFA WC.

At the end of the group stage, teams tied for position within the group will be separated firstly by "vote difference", then by head-to-head between the teams tied for position, then by votes received against the highest ranked nation in the group, then by votes received against the second highest ranked nation in the group (continuing down the rankings in that fashion). If the nations are still tied, an independent judge (who is not participating in the contest) will be asked to break the tie.

 

I still have to add the "best 3rd place" rules to that post but we have already established what the rule is on thread at least.
