2026 Winter Olympics - Day 16 (February 22)

Recommended Posts

I was at my neihgbour/colleague's place for the game. We started drinking at 7am, and just carried on. It dulled the pain.

Just want to shout out to everyone here on being such great companions to share the Olympics with. The outcome was disappointing, but fun to share it with all of you, nonetheless.

Back to work/real life tomorrow. It's always sad when a Games ends, but maybe not so much this time. I just hope the right people look at this and do something.

Jasmine Drolet (Answered Correctly: George_D)

2. Bobsleigh: Which crew will record the fastest start time in heat 3 and 4 combined? (You can just put the name of the pilot: Taylor Austin/Jay Dearborn)

And those were the only two questions I asked as far as I'm concerned. I don't remember putting down any other questions, definitely not.

And finally, thank you to everyone who participated in the contest. It was a lot of fun to organize and I hope you guys had a fun time too.

And also thank you to everyone who was a part of the Team Canada Club during these Olympics. Even though it wasn't the Games we all wanted, the discussions with you guys on this club made these Games made for some great times and I'm incredibly thankful for this community! I hope to see all of you continue to stick around now that the Games are over.

Also on a more positive note, anyone know of any young athletes to keep an eye on over the next 4 years?

Think we had a similar discussion after Paris 2024 as well.

As a hockey fan, keep an eye on Connor Bedard, Matthew Schaefer, and Gavin McKenna. And Macklin Celebrini's only going to get better by 2030. Sebastian Cossa also has potential to be an excellent goaltender as well.
