It's not going to last but another great result for her

It’s great to see her in the lead!

TBH, many people outside Canada (and inside, see CBC's picks) had Mik at silver, or even bronze. Ikuma is also very good, and if he had squeaked it out today with those runs, I would not be surprised or upset. But this was stolen by the judges. On a tiebreaker. It's hard not to believe they did it for the "drama". Some nobody taking it from the greatest all time on a tie breaker. NBC will be re-running it all day.

To Ikuma/Wallberg though, not Woods

Yes, exactly. But my point was this wasn't a for sure gold.

However, I've decided to treat it like I'm treating the FS Team event from Beijing. There, Canada was the 3rd best team. It doesn't matter that they weren't awarded the bronze (in my mind), they were 3rd best. Here, Mik put down the best run today. He was the best competitor today. It doesn't matter he didn't get gold (in my mind).

It does to me, this was judging favouritism with the score for Woods, and so like Beijing... never getting over it.

8th and 16th for Alison Mackie and Liliane Gagnon after 54 skiers in the women's 10km interval sprint free. Not bad.
