I’m getting nervous about this event.  Kam/O’Shea need to be 4th in the free skate to make things a little safer.

We will get one more point after Malinin goes, so the margin will be a little more comfy.  I imagine Alysa and Amber will swap...but probably C&B and Malinin will stay.

Ok, oops, maybe not.

So...we've got the lead by one.

Next round:

Dance: We win, Japan comes in last.

Pairs: Japan wins, we come in last.

Women: Let's suppose Japan is 1 and we are 2...

then men... Assuming Ilia comes back and wins, and we go 1 and JPN is 2...

...then we still win...

...barely.

Don’t write off either.  Kam/O’Shea have a better PB than the Canadians and beat them by 10 pts at last years worlds.  They ought to finish ahead of them.

Amber has the triple axel - she will have to nail it though.

I surely hope Kam/O'Shea can skate cleanly...hope she can gain some confidence and see her smiling as much as him.

And yep...when Amber skates cleanly, it's great!  We'll see tomorrow afternoon!
