We had only won one gold medal until this year. Now we've won two in the same tournament.

now that she won a world medal also as a senior for them (she already was cadet world champion in 2022), I think she'll stay with forever, or at least until she has troubles with their federation (which is always a chance with the African Nations)

Brazil is constantly improving in Taekwondo. We usually do well in combat sports, so perhaps in a few more years we can become a powerhouse in that sport and who knows, maybe we can win more than just a bronze medal at the Olympics.

 

I hope we can also grow in Wrestling someday, but that will take a miracle.

big disappointment for Today

2020 Olympic Champion Vito Dell'Aquila has been eliminated already in the round of 32 by Abolfazl Zandi losing both rounds after being ahead until 2 seconds to go

This Iranian won gold, so maybe it was a premature final. Shame. I'm more concerned that, apart from Vito and Alessio, no youngsters are winning medals for us.
