You cant host any event , you cant participate ....that's all

IOC made correct decision. 

Any country can have different stance on every topic but if you want to host anything, you can't pick who can or can't participate, simple as that. Participation is universal and must be based only on sport rules or conditions.

Same applies to USA or any other western country, just to be clear.

Gold: Hashimoto Daiki  

Silver: Zhang Boheng

Women's All-Around

 

Gold: Angelina Melnikova  (  )

Silver: Leanne Wong  

Bronze: Zhang Qingying  

 

All of our commentators in the  (not surprisingly) were convinced that Melnikova wasn't properly penalized for an out-of-bounds in her floor routine, but we never saw a good replay of it, and I don't have the knowledge enough to say whether it's true or not.  Only 0.1 between Gold and Silver.  And if I recall correctly from the commentators, this is the same Gold and Silver from 4 years ago.  Props to Melnikova for retaining Gold, even after falling off the beam.

By the way, Melnikova`s presence here is a really dishonest play by Watanabe.
