Does anyone know how the high diving scoring works? The six scores don't add up to the final score.

Scores from the compulsory dives in the prelim (round 1 and 3) are carried to the final and added to the scores from round 5 and 6.

 

Scores from round 2 and 4 count for qualification purposes, but are then discarded.

 Pauline Pfeif becoming the first German diver to medal in an individual event in 8 years, and the first female diver to do so in 18 years.

A very unexpected 4th for  Kaetlyn Fung in women’s 10m platform, we sent a very weak diving squad and wasn’t expecting anything better than 6-8th at best (in synchro) so hats off to her
