That's true though, maybe not strictly the existence of a descent on the route, but it definitely doesn't make sense at the end. I would prefer it somewhere in the middle, the finish line should be on a climb or flat at least.

I watched it few times in World cup. You have to know, this is just sprint format. But still, you try to put all this effort in less than 3 minutes.

 

Just too bad we failed to qualify by a margin.
