(very) old tricks die hard

Two dutch riders were caught cutting the race during the Tour of Guadeloupe and trying to rejoin the Peloton like nothing had happened. Thankfully, it's not the 1910's anymore

Can't wait for the explanation how they accidentally missed the way :p

Missed this yesterday, but Victor Lagelotti of Ineos became the first-ever rider from :MON to win a World Tour race when he took Stage 6 of the Tour de Pologne.

And if anyone is asking. He is actually from Monaco, born and raised there, son of the cyclist federation president.

There are only 9,000 or so Monaco nationals.

Monaco really is quite impressive in terms of sports. If I'm not mistaken both Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc and bobsledder Rudy Rinaldi are born and raised Monegasques, which with Langelotti already makes for a very easy three names in top-level sports for such a small group of people.

Meanwhile, beautiful win for Julian Alaphilippe today in the GP Quebec. We also got a glimpse of Tadej Pogacar's tactical skills....which are basically just non-existent. It is impressive to see how physically he is basically the very best cyclist in the world (although right now that might not be entirely true, as a general rule in the past few years it definitely is), but tactically he is amateurish at best...

Imagine the list of his wins if tactically he was at least 20% as good as he is physically.

Also David Elena, historc Loeb's copilot and multuple rally world champion.

Lombardia today & it is every bit as exciting & unpredictable as we expected.  :sleep:

Plenty fans out tbf.

And the very second I post it, idiot tifosi get into Evenepoel's way.  No harm done though.
