Beautiful gala! Glad Ilia was able to go out there and earn a little redemption. Wish Gibson/Fear could have skated here after a disappointing end to their skate in the individual competition. -
We peaked in 2018. Without any meaningful investment in sports (which this year 80% of sports got decreases), Canada will not be a power, but mid-tier at best. -

No absolutely not, time to face the reality, it isn't only here even in Beijing we sucked, we're not gonna be winning that many in the next 2-3 Olympics unless something changes . Short track is too unpredictable to rely on for medals, and our athletes don't have the mental capability to perform during an event like this, unfortunate but I've accepted it already. And the Canadian olympic committee won't do shit about it because unless we won 5 less medals, the curling and men's hockey medals means they don't care about it . whatever Finishing top 10 in 2030 would be a success for us with the crisis Canadian winter sport is facing

You still have the potential to win 10+ gold medals in each game - you just need to improve your short track -
I don't think so we are on a downwards trajectory in winter sport
