What time does the Underground stop running?

It'd be quite laughable if in a city like Tokyo it ever does :p

Tokyo underground stops between 1 a.m and 5 a.m., but some lines stop already at midnight

Disgusting...

no, he went down because of an accident, he wasn't victim of a faulty action leading to a DQ like the Hocker vs Farken dispute

correct decision by the jury, imho

no, you're advanced after an accidental contact only if you're damaged when you're in a position that would give you the pass to the following round, he wouldn't have been advanced even in short track (he was in the middle of the pack)

and in any case this is Track & Field, not Short Track

Do you remember situation with Fabrizio Mori in 1999? In that time probably Nebiolo intervened personally? On the other hand, we lost early gold with Fiona May and the gold for the Spanish girls - she barely stepped on the plasticine, so the IAAF gave us back what it had previously taken from us.

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)

    • I read the Olympic qualification documents for weightlifting. A country can have the opportunity to send a maximum of 4 athletes in one gender, but the conditions are very strict.
    • world champion Jessica Schilder opened her season up with 19.78 in France.
    • wait! what???   so, there won't be specialized double sculls, but those boats would have to feature 2 single specialists if a Nation wants to enter 2 proper singles M+W??? tell me I misread the expalaination...
