Athletics WA World Championships 2025

Crazy how different the four heats of the 1500m were.  There were 60 athletes in total, and the athlete who clocked the 41st fastest time is now qualified for the semis.  (But I suppose that's not to be too surprising, giving it's just the top X from the heat, no time qualifiers.)

Honestly my sleep schedule is so messed up it's ideal for la28.

I sleep at 3am uk time. So outside of missing the later events im set🤣

I actually had to fix my sleep schedule for paris which was only one hour out of my timezone because I would miss three hours of stuff if not at least  because i wake up late🤣

My sleep schedule is even worse.

When I go to sleep, really depends on the day.

Right now, I’m in college so my schedule is on weekdays I wake up at 5:00am-7:45am (earlier time when I have hockey practice, at 6:30am, but it hasn’t started yet), classes from 9am-12am, then off to the gym/out for lunch, then a shower and a quick nap, hanging out with friends/homework from 3pm-6pm, then dinner at 7pm, then either watching sports/movies before going to bed.

Although this usually doesn’t go to plan, at all :p

Brooke Andersen :USA 3 strikes. :(

Can’t say it’s that surprising anymore. Looks like it’s something mental, the pressure always seems to get to her in these big meets, fouled out at Olympic Triald last year, missed the final at 2023 Worlds. Unfortunate.

Wonder what changed between that and when she won the 2022 World title.

Strategy is a big thing as the races get longer
