She is certainly one of the main sports stars in the Netherlands, yes. I'd say in terms of speed skating, only Jutta Leerdam can equal her (but for Leerdam that's also largely because people don't manage to get further than 'oh, pretty girl, lets make her popular', whereas Bol is actually widely liked).

Apparently, Paternain made her marathon debut in March, and was the very last athlete to qualify for the marathon here

Bol seems like such an ordinary girl, while Leerdam and Klaver are more like beautiful seks- stars. Although for me, Joy Beune is the prettiest of them and I think she was in Playboy in your country?

I have no idea man, I really don't follow the gossip side of sports  The only thing I know is the thing with Jutta Leerdam and that Jake Paul guy because it is utterly impossible to avoid it also when just watching the sports, despite it being so incredibly uninteresting

Leerdam seems so artificial... Beune is more natural and feminine, similar to Ragne Wiklund and Lollobrigida. To me, Beune, Wilklund, and Lollobrigida are much prettier than Leerdam. Bol may not be beautiful, but she's so funny and likeable- someone you could just go for a beer with and have a good time.
