YESSSSSSSSSSSS,the dumbass ''opening ceremony'' distraction didn't rob  Martynas Alekna of a very well deserved and to me quite surprising bronze medal :hyper:63.96 and a great consistent series aswell.6th result in the world this year :clap:

Henrik Janssen won the comp with 65.77 taking the scalp Of Kristjan Ceh as the commentators put it [65.69]. 

 :SRBAdriana Vilagos goes huge with  a national record of 66.88 in the women's javelin to close out day 1.

:USA Isabella Whittaker run 49.24 indoors which is second fastest in history behind Femke Bol.

So far 4 guys have finished lap 2 (out of 5), but they're all unlikely to even finish lap 3 in time to go onto lap 4, let alone finish the whole thing :d
