While there in stadium for a long period, one does not want to miss activities / results from other sports. 

I think they should allow.. As we are living in a digital world now with FB, twiiter, selfies, etc

Thank you for this. It does not mention anything on tablets, though I am assuming they would be allowed since they do not fall under any category of prohibited items!

There's a detailed list of the prohibited and restricted items here. I'm pretty sure tablets are allowed.

Are you going for the games as well? @kapil857 is also going to be there. Let's cheer for Indian athletes together! :d

Are you also visiting? would be great if that is the case... @kapil857 (his sister) and I have been in regular touch for past 1 year over our Rio visit. Infact we have common tickets too...
