Will the entry list be posted here? And, North Korea has been in and out of the list, Will they participate in the games?

The Games are in China so I think the North Koreans will be taking part.

North Korea is back to participating. I thought they may have withdrawn as they withdrew their women's hockey team

Yes, I thought that too, but I do not trust that list. If they are there, I hope they will start in speedskating.

When the start of the Winter Games really starts to approach in a week's time, a website will probably appear with an overview of the participants in the various events.
Has anyone at this time found a website that suggests that HERE will will you find the participant list for....example, speed skating?

Very surprised to see that there will only be 1 event in Alpine Skiing (Slalom for men and women). Does anyone know why that is?

looking back to when Harbin hosted past Universiade’s they’ve had super-g and giant slalom events. Seems like a very limited programme for what will no doubt be one of the most widely participated in sports.

Yes,,it is very strange with only slalom for men and women as the only alpine event.

Two guesses: The World Championships are being held at the same time and that China is not good at this sport (they obviously want to win the medal table and limit the other countries from winning golds)

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
