:SCO Mouat defeats :CAN Gushue 6-2 for the men’s title at the GSOC Co-Op Canadian Open.

Now 13-0 in GSOC matches, including two titles, and 37-4 overall on the season.

The loss to :GER last weekend was a real blip, everyone about 20% down on what they usually do.   Maybe just not taking the opposition seriously enough.

GSOC Kioti National Semifinals

Men

:SCO Mouat v. :CAN McEwen

:CAN Jacobs v. :SCO Whyte

Women

:CAN Einarson v. :SWE Hasselborg

:CAN Homan v. :KOR Kim

GSOC Kioti National | Saint Johns, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada :CAN

Men

1. :SCO Team Mouat

2. :CAN Team Jacobs

3. :CAN Team McEwen

3. :SCO Team Whyte

Team Mouat have now won the first 3 slams to start the season, and keep their hope for a Grand Slam alive. They’d be the first team to ever achieve that feat. :yikes:

Women

1. :CAN Team Homan

2. :SWE Team Hasselborg

3. :KOR Team Kim

3. :CAN Team Einarson

Team Homan were 5-2 down entering the 6th end and somehow managed to find a way to win. Now 40-2 on the season, including 5 titles, and are 107-9 in their last 116 games. Incredible consistency.

Canadian Mixed Doubles Olympic Trials final between Peterman/Gallant and Homan/Bottcher, here we go! :cheer: (I’m aware I’m late, I’ve been typing this in between rocks)

After 4 ends, Peterman/Gallant with a commanding 6-1 lead over Homan/Bottcher after scoring a 2 in the 4th.

I can really tell how badly Peterman/Gallant want to make it to the Olympics, what a performance by them so far. Still lots of game to go though, and I wouldn’t put it past Homan/Bottcher to make a comeback.

Homan/Bottcher convert on their power-play, with a wide open draw for two. With how this game has been going, and that whiff by Brett, slightly underwhelming of a score but at least it’s something?

Peterman/Gallant up 6-3 and have the hammer in the 6th end.
