Well they missed 2 sprints due to “photo finishes” and then called Thomas out wrongly by deciding to Dq someone else. German rider aggrieved about Viviani as well to no avail. So yes it was a mess but Ethan just decided after one close sprint to control the bunch; by far the strongest legs.
