Four medal chances tomorrow, although we could just as easily end up with none.

Maude Charron in women’s 59kg weightlifting is our best chance, followed by Skylar Park in women’s 57kg taekwondo, but I’d also give chances to Kelsey Mitchell/Lauriane Genest in women’s keirin and Dylan Bibic in men’s omnium.

Busy at work again tomorrow morning, so I won't be able to watch anything 6am-noon-ish. But I'll pop in here every so often to keep up to date. I really want Mitchell and Genest to work it out, but not sure they can. At least semi-finals.

With 19 medals, it'll be a race to see if they can top 24 for Tokyo. Despite my recent pessimism, I'd wager that they'll at least tie it. We'll have a much better idea after tomorrow, of course.

Although they're only 1 short of their record 7 golds from Tokyo, I think that'll be harder to match. I don't want to jinx anyone, so I will vaguely say there are still chances in athletics, canoe and, uh, breaking with outside shots in cycling and beach volleyball. And hey, anything can happen in combat sports. We'll see.

Sad that it's almost over, but excited to see what the next few days will bring.

I hope today will be a better day.  I feel so bad for Andre and Mohammed.  Andre maybe was not a favourite for a medal but Mo had a great chance.  Canada might not get any medals on the track.  Marcos now has a lot of competition for the podium. The men's 4x 100 team is not looking great with our men fading.  THough I understand poor Andre is injured.  Fingers crossed for beach volleyball.  and maybe something in taekwondo; artistic swimming, breaking, canoe/kayak and a surprise maybe in cycling?
