Hinchliffe is such an exciting prospect.

I wonder if in LA he will try and emulate his coach and win a gold there.

Gotta love the BBC coverage - JJ Chalmers just insulted Louie Hinchliffe's running style, leaving Michael Johnson and Jeanette Kwakye lost for words....and he couldn't even get his name right.

Sailing delayed again, I don't know how many reserve days they have but I assume they would have to give the gold to Emma Wilson if they can't complete the medal races.

Why oh why did the hold the sailing on the Med & not in the guaranteed wind of the Atlantic coast?

In fairness, doesn't sailing sometimes get postponed for too much wind? I'm sure I've seen that happen. Could have done it in the Channel as well, that's where we did it.

After 2 rounds, Rutter has a 2 shot buffer. Still very early days though.

And where it was in 1924 as well.

Snellgrove put in a great race in the women’s dinghy winning and lifting herself to 8th overall.

Beckett in the men’s dinghy sitting 10th with 3 legs left.

    • That was known from the start for  and will be planned for.   Sadly just the reality of sports in North America. Canada and the US are both huge, a flight from Vancouver to Halifax or from Seattle to Miami is north of five hours. Every sports league in North America has to deal with this kind of travel logistics on the regular, so none of this will seem particularly unusual to a North American player.
    • That’s not a long distance, it’s barely a 2h flight and there is no difference in timezone. Easily doable for fans as well.
