If the referee was biased pro-Argentina all bets are off. Adding 15 minutes smells conspiracy to help Argentina right away.

 

There will be a HUGE backlash after this game no matter what. Chances of Nyberg getting another Morocco or Muslim country game at these OG are next to zero.

 

I hope Argentina enjoys the draw or maybe the file a protest and demand a walkover? :p

Full-time wasn't called

Morocco fans rioted (that may be a strong word but lack of a better one, there was trouble though) after the goal and play was stopped

The game isn't over just suspended (although very close to over)

We are writing about two different things, you don't want to write about the aspect i'm writing about 🙂. I clearly wrote that this decision was strange but i am writing about reaction....ok, no problem.

      Ukrainian diver Lyskun switches allegiance to Russia, loses all medals | Olympics News | Al Jazeera   'loses all medals'   I would assume Al Jazeera could have been a bit clearer and mention this would presumably only be national medals. I mean, it's not like the Ukrainian federation, or any single federation for that matter, has the power to strip her of her world and European championships medals I hope (not for her sake, but because that would be a super weird precedent)

      Confirmation about the broadcasting rights.   If I'm reading it right, for most of Europe it will now be exclusive to Discovery/Eurosport or whatever brand they use.     For outside Europe, it's on YouTube.       Surely. Her first coach now works in russia (and grandma lives in russia according to Sereda). They were in contact and despite of full funding from  the girl decided to become the star of russian propaganda.  As I saw in X: "It took the Russians four years of war to find a relatively well-known sports personality to carry out such a propaganda operation."
