As expected, Gleadle fails to qualify in women’s javelin throw. Had hopes for her with her recent 61m+ throw, but of course not.

Not sure but all it takes is 3 more ppl to pass him. He is on the bubble.

Would be such a shame if he misses out. He was only .07 off getting the standard a couple of months ago, and in a 5000m that’s really small.

I feel like there is a good chance  Geordie Beamish would drop this event given that his primary event, the 3000m steeplechase, has its final on the same day as the 5000m heats. That would give some more buffer to Fafard.
