so, the Opening Ceremony is scheduled for Tomorrow, but the action is already on and the first set of medals has already been awarded! :yikes: :cheer:

 

the first event to be staged was the women's Junior Inline Hockey Tournament

 

Gold: :ESP Spain

Silver: :USA United States

Bronze: :NAM Namibia

 

(4th: :ITA, 5th: :TPE, 6th: :GBR, 7th: :CHN, 8th: :IND, 9th: :AUS, 10th: :CHI)

 

Semifinals

 

:USA b. :ITA 5-0

:ESP b. :NAM 5-0

 

Bronze Medal Match

 

:NAM b. :ITA 4-3 after OT

 

Gold Medal Match

no, but world skate's website is not updated in many of those disciplines, gotta read the news and sometimes gotta dig deep into some obscure forums and specific websites to find all the results :cry: :sick: :zip:

 

in the previous editions, it was a nightmare...had to wait days before finding all the news about some sports included in these Games :facepalm:

yes, this is basically the combined world championship of all the skating sports (and it's held every 2 years, accidents apart like the covid pause)
