I have absolutely no idea why they wouldn't send the silver medalist from 2015 instead.

Gadisov and the rest of Dagistani wrestlers boycotted their nationals, Boltukaev destroyed everybody to the title, they didn't give Gadisov another chance since he lost before in other international tournament.

Boltukaev was great in pre-Olympic matches but now here under serious doping control, he gasses easily.

yeah somtimes when the gap was bigger than 2-3 points, there were also some dubious calls in Chamizo-Asgarov match, but can't say for sure , has to watch the reply first.

freestyle officiating was better until today, not completely though and I didn't even watch all the matches.

Probably i' m wrong because i'm not a big expert but in my opinion Chamizo won the match with a good margin, i think he had a 4 points throw instead of 2 points and in the 2 points action of Asgarov the azeri wrestler had 1 foot out of the mat.

Только что, MHSN сказал:

what a mistake by our coach, why the hell you are challenging a decision against Azerbaijan ? they own UWW. they will NEVER change decision against Azerbaijan. Gazyumov's knee touched the mat and Yazdani got robbed, but we knew how it works.

with Boltukaev losing ,Yazdani had gold medal in his pocket winning this one. :(

I didn't see that match, but i am sorry if there was poor decision of the referee in this match :(. As far as I know Iranian guy only scored 1 point due and it was warning to Gazyumov, so i will doubt your words regarding the gold medal in the pocket :)

By the way, i must say we are very bad owners of the UWW since we even don't have gold medal in men wrestling so far :d:d:d

Don't agree with you about 4 points throw but Toghrul's foot was indeed out if the mat for couple of seconds

Only two wrestlers could beat Yazdani today, Boltukaev and Gazyumov. they were bad matchup for Yazdani while for example Snyder could be easy him even Americans know that. the Russian didn't bring his drugs to Rio therefore lost easily. Gazyumov is big and strong, it's always hard to score against him specially when he is defending the entire 6 minutes. I'm talking about the last action in 1st period. Yazdani had the control, Gazyumov's knee clearly touched the mat which means 2pts takedown. I have the picture of that action I just don't know how to post it here, his knee clearly touched the mat. only the center referee from Finland gave 2pts.

yes no gold yet That's exactly why they are helping your wrestlers today.

btw Yazdani got injured badly few months ago, he is still seriously injured, I just hope he come and wins this bronze medal to end his great career with an Olympic medal. 4 years ago in London he was on his way to the gold but got injured against the same Ukrainian guy he is supposed to wrestle in bronze medal match today, if he wins repechage matches.
