Brilliant moment in the Classic Varn- :NOR Tobias Hallan Johannessen came over the top of the climb in the lead, started celebrating & freewheeling down to the line, :FRA Lenny Martinez put in a sprint & got him!  :cheer::what:

Catching up again - Ruta del Sol was something less than a classic this year.  Will give ES coverage a miss.

:GBR Josh Tarling seems to be continuing his good form in the individual time trial event, winning the first stage of the O Gran Camino.

I say "seems" because it doesn't really count for much! Due to high winds, it was a neutralised stage, the riders were on normal road bikes and some riders were just going through the motions.

Still, I'm in a glass half full kind of mood whilst waiting for BMX racing to start so thought I'd post it anyhow. :d

Hadn't realised that the US Nationals were last weekend. Big names in action in Charleston, West Virginia, nice up & down the river valley course.  Main races on YT.  And there is no such thing as 5.5 miles.  That is 5 miles 4 furlongs, buddy. :old:

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
    • Today : Jordan 3-0 Egypt  This team will surprise us
