 Iurisci/Zoeschg and  Berger/Hohenauer are the reigning U18 European Champions 

 

 Massey won silver with Pater last year, and has made a semi-deep run at AVP Virginia with Perez (according to their seeding anyways) and her and Davis should be medal contenders. 
 

 Julhia/Marcela,  Rayner/Zajer, and  Juca/Gabriel are some of the other ones to watch out for. 

 

To my knowledge, no they do not have an equivalent to the seniors, so for above it was kind of hard to figure out who some of the favourites might be (maybe I’ll do more research later)
 

But if they do, it’s kind of hard to try and follow, even if you want to, because the majority of the events, besides the U19/U21 World Championships of course, don’t show up on the Volleyball World site (and there’s no Junior Volleyball World site, or anything of that sort…)

Yeah I was watching the match, they could be in the final though, they just threw away a 5pts lead in the 2nd set (after winning the 1st) in the semifinal yesterday

 

but still bronze is a great result.  beach volley isn't much active here

 April Ross, a legend of this sport with three Olympic medals, has officially announced her retirement after the AVP League season.

What a sad year for beach volleyball, with Brouwer, Meeuwsen, Ludwig, Bobner, Pavan, and now these two retiring.
