Milano-Cortina 2026 - Very Early Predictions Road to Milano-Cortina 2026

Recommended Posts

Ok, enough of RUSBLR - UKR - FRA - IOC drama for today for me

Still, we totallympians don't make any decisions, we can just look and comment, and that's all we can do. We can also stop watching but with all the bad things about Olympics there is still nothing better in the world of sport (world of entertainment) for me than olympics.

So it's weekend, i am having a well-deserved glass of cognac and i will try to make a nice boring post in this thread now but the first thing is - do we know a final list of events for 2026 olympics??? There was some mess with alpine skiing and nordic combined if i remember correctly.

Still a couple of years to go, but why not. For my predictions, I’ll also be adding some lesser known names (mainly juniors) that have shown success before but have yet to translate it to the WC circuit. First though, I’m going to complete my Paris 2024 predictions (Day 15/16 medalists, medal summary by event, and a list of all projected medals by NOC.

I am frantically looking through all the data I collected but as for now I don’t see a chance for a medal for POL in 26.

but maybe you - from non-Polish perspective- see it different???

Quite a few chances for Poland actually. Oskar Kwiatkowski in men’s parallel slalom, Aleksandra Krol in women’s parallel slalom, Dawid Kubacki/Kamil Stoch in men’s large hill/normal hill are your best bets. Andzelika Wojcik in women’s 500m (long track speed skating) and Poland’s women’s team pursuit also have a chance, although unlikely.

Also, in terms of juniors Jan Habdas is one to watch in men’s normal hill (ski jumping) and your men’s ski jumping team. But Milan 2026 will probably be too soon for them.
